There will be several professionals that help people find recovery from substance use disorders speaking on their experience helping others find a new way of life.
There will also be several community members in long-term recovery from substance use disorders sharing their experience, strength and hope.
These speakers will demonstrate that recovery is alive and well in our community, and that the old lie “once an addict, always an addict” is dead. Treatment is effective, support is important, and recovery is possible!
This event is free, kid-friendly, all are invited.
Bring a dish to share, and a utensil to serve it.
There will be representatives from local treatment providers, human services, advocacy organizations
